How Kuikads complies with GDPR

The protection of user data and privacy remains our top priority.

On May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force. The GDPR is designed to reshape the way organizations around the world approach data privacy, especially in the EU. While the GDPR is a part of EU law, it applies to any company that handles personal data in the EU and gives certain rights to people whose personal information has been collected. The availability of these rights and the ways in which you can use them are detailed below.

  • Access: You have the right to ask us if we are processing your data and, if we are, you can request access to your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and certain other information about them;

  • Correction: You have the right to request that any incomplete or inaccurate personal data we hold about you be corrected;

  • Erasure: You have the right to ask us to delete or erase personal data in certain circumstances. There are also certain exceptions where we may refuse an erasure request, for example where the personal data is necessary for compliance with the law or in connection with claims;

  • Restriction: You have the right to ask us to suspend the processing of some of your personal data about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for the processing;

  • Transfer: In certain circumstances, you may request the transfer of some of your personal data to another party;

  • Objection: Where we process your personal data based on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party), you can object. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes;

  • Automated decisions: You can challenge any automated decision made about you where it has a similar legal or significant effect and request that it be reconsidered;

  • Consent: Where we process personal data with consent, you can withdraw your consent; and

  • Marketing: From time to time, we may contact you to share marketing information and updates about our products and services. If you do not wish to receive it, you have the right to opt out of receiving our marketing material at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email newsletter; Alternatively, you can contact us directly

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of the European Union where you habitually reside or where an alleged infringement of data protection law has occurred.
